Ambassador of Iran to the Vatican was my father's last diplomatic position. He is seen above with His Holiness Giovanni Battista Montini, known as Pope Pope VI. My Father was very close to Pope John with whom he had been a friend for many long years. Grand Iranian Ayatollahs visited the Vatican during his time.
